Monday the Supreme Court of the United States unanimously ruled 28 of North Carolina's legislative districts unconstitutional. This means there are dozens of members of the General Assembly who were elected unconstitutionally. Background
The politicians in Raleigh who were unconstitutionally elected have no ability to defend their racially gerrymandered districts anymore. The Supreme Court has made it clear: these politicians were in the wrong and these districts must be redrawn immediately. It's time for a legitimate General Assembly in North Carolina.
