Tell your NC Legislators:
Duke Energy created this coal ash mess and they should be the ones to clean it up. Duke Energy shareholders, not customers, should bear the full cost of cleaning up the coal ash pits that are polluting our state. It's unfair to let Duke Energy pass along the cost to consumers who've done nothing wrong. I urge you to pass meaningful coal ash reform that will protect our drinking water without punishing NC customers with rate increases.
